DESIGN
Every successful dwelling project starts with a clear understanding of budget, timeline, and expectations. From the moment you approve the project estimate, our MY DWELL team is dedicated to delivering a smooth, transparent process from concept to completion.
Most dwelling projects are completed within 3–16 weeks, depending on size and location. Throughout the process, we’ll keep you informed with regular updates so you always know the status of your project.

ESTIMATING & TIMEFRAME
BUILDING METHOD
Once the design and project estimate have been approved, the MY DWELL team begins the construction process. Each dwelling [using a series of different size new shipping containers] is built using our durable steel exterior framing system combined with traditional wood interior framing, creating a structure that is both strong and versatile.
All building systems [plumbing, electrical, etc.] are installed using industry-standard construction practices and in accordance with applicable codes. If permits, inspections, or municipal approvals are required, our team will help guide you through the process and coordinate the necessary steps.
Before installation, a foundation or site pad may be required based on the dwelling design and local building requirements. This work is typically completed by a qualified local contractor. The MY DWELL team will provide the necessary foundation specifications and can coordinate with your contractor to help ensure the site is properly prepared for installation. If you do not have a contractor, we can provide one for your project.
Once construction is complete and approved, we coordinate delivery and installation at your site. Final connections and finishing touches are completed onsite, ensuring your dwelling is move-in ready.
